Who Loves Santa

Today Grandma, Riley and I decided to go to the mall and finish up our Christmas shopping. I wanted to get Rileys picture taken with Santa but I figured this is what would happen ( see picture ). Its the memory that counts right. Funny thing if you look back at last years photo not only did they turn out better but thats the same Santa. =)

It has been awhile since my last post so I have quite a bit to talk about. We had a great summer we went to visit Mari and the gang in California and what a blast that was. We went every where the Golden Gate Bridge, Six Flags and even watched fire works on the 4th of July. After we got home we did nothing but fish lol. We had a great time though and caught a lot of fish, they were pretty tasty too. Cory had a lot of projects too there was the giant water slide in to the river, his man made raft, he learned to wind surf, and last but not least he got a jet ski to finish the summer off with. =) Riley and I had our own adventure we took a girl trip with Grandma and Aunt Sam to go visit Aunt Cindy in Redmond Washington. We took a plane from Boise to Washington and Riley did very well for her first time on a plane. We had a great time we did a lot of shopping and just hanging out with every one. On my recent trip to Boise I got an early birthday present my Grandma and Mom went and got pictures of Riley done. They turner out so cute I can't believe it. Update

Wow I didn't realize it has been so long since I have posted something. We have been super busy gosh where to start ! Well Riley has grown since February! Riley is now 7 1/2 months old and weighs about 16 lbs. She got her two bottom teeth around 5 months and I think her top ones are trying to make an appearance now. She can sit all be herself she still topples over every now and then but she is pretty good now. She wants to crawl and stand in the worst way! Cory has been practicing with her to crawl and stand ( she will only do this with Cory, with every one else she pretends her legs are broken ). Our last blog was about getting the bikes and now that Riley is old enough we got a trailer and we go for rides and Riley loves it. She giggles and blows bubbles all the way around the neighborhood.

Cory and I have decided to move to Declo for awhile. We are getting all packed up and plan to be down there by Sunday. We are very excited, now Riley can get to know every one else!



funny story: I was hanging out at grandmas since I locked my self out of the house ( that's another story lol ) and Riley was ready for a nap so I laid her down. A few minutes later I heard something I thought Riley had the hiccups so I went to check on her and there was Wally, my grandmas dog, has decided to take a nap with Riley. Riley and Wally are best friends they always play together and Wally must know where Riley is at all times, even nap time.

So the Turner family hasn't been up to much lately, just watching Riley Jo grow like a weed! We have been wanting to get out and do something lately and this weekend we finally figured out what our calling was, Bike riding ! Well I bought a bike that me and Riley could ride around on in the summer when she is old enough to fit in the trailer and then it was Corys turn...... ( we know what that means! ) =) So we are wondering through the bike stores and we came across a tandem bike and we fell in love. One gentlemen suggested we go rent one and try it first. He said it will either strengthen or break a relationship, and that this bike is all about communication. We drove around town till we found a bike shop that would let us test one out and it was love at first pedal ! It was great but the cost not so much ! At the nice bike shops an entry level bike went for 630 and we even test drove a 1200 one ! Well thats alot of money to just throw down on a bike so Cory looked around on the internet and Walmart sells them ! Who loves Walmart !!! =) We picked the bike up for around 250 ! So here are some awsome photos of cory building it and I am not sure who will take pictures of us riding it but when I figure that out I will put some of those on here too !

The Missionaires took the bike for a spin and they loved it !
